Elizabeth A. Browning

Elizabeth is founder and chief executive officer of LLuminari, an innovative health education company for women and those they care for. Co-founded with Susan Love, M.D. and Nancy Snyderman, M.D., LLuminari and its network of well known, highly regarded physicians and experts work with both media partners and leading corporations to enlighten and inspire people to live healthier lives. Major initiatives with media partners include the Company's "Here's to your Health" series that appears monthly in O, The Oprah Magazine and on Oprah.com, and a grassroots health initiative with Women's Entertainment.

Prior to founding LLuminari, Elizabeth was President, DuPont Consumer Health, a division of DuPont's Nutrition & Health strategic business unit. During her 20 year career with the DuPont Company, Elizabeth held a variety of leadership positions in industries ranging from biotechnology to pharmaceuticals and textile fibers. While at DuPont, Elizabeth led the globalization of the LYCRA® brand and the Company's entry into e-business. She also was the first woman to serve in a corporate governance position working directly for DuPont's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

In addition to her responsibilities at DuPont, Elizabeth led the creation of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society in Delaware and served twice as its Chair. She also served on the Board of United Way of Delaware and as Board Chair for the Easter Seals of Delaware and the eastern shore of Maryland. Elizabeth frequently lectures on global marketing and branding and has worked with the Stanford Executive Education Program and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a past member of the Marketing Science Institute. Elizabeth is currently on the Board of the Easter Seals of Delaware and a member of the Forum for Executive Women in Philadelphia. She received a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Journalism and English from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School. Elizabeth has two sons and resides in Wilmington, Delaware.
