Brock J. Vinton
Brock J. Vinton is President and CEO, The Commonwealth Group, Ltd., a diversified real estate development company formed in 1974 through a series of mergers. The Commonwealth Group provides development, construction and property management services to the office and industrial real estate sectors. Recently, the Group expanded operations into high end, custom designed residential homes in Colorado. Its primary operations are in the Mid Atlantic states including Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
His family has lived in Delaware for over four generations, founding and leading family owned companies. Throughout his career, Brock has been both an active investor and supporter of entrepreneurs, particularly in health care. In 1984, he financed and led the creation of the Omega Medical Center in Delaware housing medical and dental health services. A year later, he brought the first Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to the facility. Shortly thereafter, a Toshiba Gamma Camera and Computer system was added making the Center a state of the art diagnostic center.
Brock is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also served as an Officer in the United States Navy.
